TONY Award-Winning Musical 'Jersey Boys' Dazzles at Music Theatre of Connecticut

The story and music of iconic band The Four Seasons, and frontrunner Frankie Valli, comes to life in the Music Theatre of Connecticut's (MTC) sensational production of Jersey Boys from September 15 to October 1, 2023.

This musical biography follows the rise of the band, struggles, and triumph and features hits, like Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, Bye Bye Baby, Beggin, and Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. There are over 30 songs in the musical. The audience cheered to the casts' high energy performances and harmonizations. Since the seats at MTC are close to the stage it feels as if the audience is truly part of the show. The actors are only steps away and can be seen locking eyes with the audience members throughout the performance.

Michael Fasano stars as Frankie Valli. He played this role on the national tour and shines in this production by successfully singing in Frankie Valli's unique vocal range. Band members include Nathan Cockroft (Tommy DeVito), Sean McGee (Bob Gaudio), and Steven Petrovich (Nick Massi), who do a fantastic job harmonizing. The rest of the cast embody numerous roles -- ranging from fans, wives, mobsters, and record executives. Director, Kevin Connors, does does an excellent job utilizing his 14 actors on an intimate blackbox theater style stage. From costume changes to dances in the theater aisles, there isn't a dull moment in the show.

Runtime: 2 hours and 30 minutes (including the 15 minute intermission).

Performance times: Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm, Sundays at 2pm.

Thursday performances on 9/21 & 9/28 at 7pm.
